No Trial or Monthly version = No Thanks
Before committing to yet another subscription model, I always want to check out the offering, or have access to a demo.
I'm currently looking at email providers. I love everything about FastMail, apart from one element. Although they are an Australian company, they use data centres in the USA.
I have untangled my digital life from the big Tech, and am now keen to ensure everything is in European data centres.
I've found a few EU based email hosts and looked at their demos or trials.
One of them clearly is not that interested in helping me discover their service, or creating a frictionless experience.
Being Awkward
They only offer yearly billing. That's fine, but i want to see the product first before I part with my hard earned cash.
The FAQs:
Do you have a monthly plan?
We want to make things easy for you, so when you sign up with Soverin, you will only be charged annually. You pay once and don’t have to worry about monthly recurring costs.
How does that make things easy for me?! How does it take the worry about monthly costs from me. What you mean to say is: We only offer annual billing. No more fluff required.
Do you have a trial version?
No
Tut!
but if after signing up with Soverin, you are not happy with us, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
So you have my money, and you have my card details. I then need to work to get my money back‽
