I've Conquered the Impossible Task

I've reached mid-life by muddling through one of life's great challenges. For too long I have disguised my failure and disgarded my effort, with some disgust and embarrassment, in the depth of the cupboard.

Today, fellow readers, I can proclaim I have mastered the folding of the Fitted Sheet.

For too long my neatly folded bedding has lacked an equally elegant folded fitted sheet. Often rolled up in a dispicable shape, hidden from the neatly stacked array of bedding.

I've watched many how-to videos over the years but I've somehow always failed. However, today something fell into place; my hands launched into auto-plot, and I produced four prize winning folded fitted sheets.

Smug doesn't do the feeling justice. I have reached a life goal. Content with my laundry chores for the evening, I've put my triumph in writing, and now I can head off to bed feeling awesome.
