Checking in on Alice 🍏
For those who are following along, Alice is now 398 days old. It's been 277 days since we last checked in with her.
Over last summer she started to flourish but her leaves all turned a rust colour and eventually fell off. She over-wintered in the garden, in her little pot, as a bare twig -- no foliage.
I stuck with her and as she approaches her 400-day birthday in a few days she is starting to put out leaves.
Long live Alice.
