Adverts with celebs endorsing products
What is it about so-called celebrities appearing in adverts to endorse products?
Am I the only person on the planet who realises they are in it for the money, and have probably never heard of the product before, let alone actually used it?
I don't believe for one second that mega-star what's-her-name has used the face cream to keep her skin youthful. She's probably stuffed full of Botox and made-up to Christmas, or has just naturally good skin.
There's not a chance that Mr man-of-the-moment wears that deodorant he is spraying all over.
And who in the marketing/advertising world thinks that I am going jump on their client's website to sign up, just because some pop-star is telling me an insurance company will look after me, and give me a free pen if I sign up?
Are people that gullible ?
So many questions. No answer required, it's rhetorical 🤣
